However, being humans, there may be the occasional desire to consume meat, hence they turn towards this alternative which you mentioned. Moreover, it adds variety to their daily meals. So, I guess it's not so much about what they eat (or what their food resembles). It's more about the question of - Would you kill another living creature for the purpose of your own survival or worse still, to satisfy your taste-bud. Personally I feel that these vegetarians should be commended for putting their compassion for animals above their own needs and desires coz I still can't give up WHOPPER BURGER! Oh, there are also peop...you have got a good point. Oh, there are also people who become vegetarian due to environmental concern. Cos farmers need land to raise animals. And they cut down trees.
